There are many scientific terms and processes to learn when studying reproduction and development, and this chapter will help you get ready for answering related questions on the FTCE Biology Grades 6-12 exam. After you finish this chapter, you should be able to identify the following:

  • The cleavage process of zygotes
  • Embryo implantation
  • Placenta nutrients and blood flow
  • The contents of amniotic fluid
