Objectives of the FTCE: Geometry and Spatial Sense Chapter

Public school teachers in Florida must be certified, and one step in the certification process is passing the FTCE General Knowledge Test. This four-part exam gauges your skills in mathematics, reading, English and writing. The math subtest is presented in a multiple-choice format, and test takers have 100 minutes to complete 45 questions. Approximately nine of these questions focus on geometry and spatial sense. Your testing center will provide you with a four-function calculator to use for this subtest.
