Objectives of the GACE Early Childhood Education: American Expansionism Chapter
In Georgia, passing the GACE Early Childhood Education examination is one of the requirements for certification to teach pre-k through fifth grade. This exam is divided into two tests. Questions on American expansionism would be on test I's social studies subarea. This subarea accounts for 25% of test I's total scoring.
With the exception of two essay questions, test I is multiple-choice, requiring you to determine the best answer from four options. Some of the questions are clustered, meaning you must read a passage and answer several questions related to it. Other questions, however, stand alone. You can practice answering multiple-choice questions on this topic by taking the quizzes that are paired with each of our lessons. The quizzes also let you assess your knowledge of the subject and determine where you need extra study.
