Objectives of the GACE Math: Decimals & Percents Chapter

This chapter presents a variety of decimals and percents review resources that can help you boost your knowledge of the concepts you'll likely see on your GACE Math test. Lesson quizzes are modeled after the selected-response tasks on the actual exam and give you a preview of what the exam will look like.

There are two parts to the GACE Math assessment; you can take them in the same sitting or schedule separate appointments for each. You'll have two hours to complete each of the 45-question exams. While you may encounter decimals within multiple portions of the test, percents are covered on the first exam within the number and quantity subsection. This section makes up 30% of the test questions. If you are unable to determine the correct answer to a question, GACE officials suggest that you make your best guess and move on.
