GACE Middle Grades Math: Rational Numbers Objectives

The objective of the GACE Middle Grades Math assessment is to evaluate whether math teachers in Georgia possess sufficient knowledge of mathematics in relationship to the state's educational standards. Teachers are evaluated based on their ability to answer 45 selected-response questions. All tests are graded on a scale. About 65% of the test focuses on questions related to arithmetic and algebra, and the subject of rational numbers falls within these major topics.
