This chapter will provide tips on summarizing student assessment results and permit you to further examine the pros and cons of the standardized testing process. GACE Middle Grades Reading - Assessment Data and Standardized Testing Objectives
The computer-delivered GACE Middle Grades Reading examination consists of 80 selected-response questions. The examination takes between two hours and 2.5 hours to complete, depending on the viewing of tutorials and directional screens. There are three sections to be completed on the examination. The Curriculum and Instruction sub-area is worth 35% of the examination, the Assessment and Evaluation sub-area amounts to 35% and Diversity and Literate Environment is equal to 30% of the overall examination.
