GACE Middle Grades Reading: Teacher Development Chapter Objectives
The GACE Middle Grades Reading examination will determine your readiness to teach reading to students in grades 4-8. Your knowledge of and ability to implement teacher development exercises will be evaluated in this exam. Apply what you learned throughout school and during your review of this chapter as you pursue a reading endorsement in Georgia. The topics in this chapter may be found within the Diversity and Literate Environment subarea; this area makes up 30% of the overall score. In addition to having 80 selected-response questions and a maximum 2.5 hour time limit (including time to view tutorials), the examination is computer based.
