Objectives of the HiSET: Geography & Farming Chapter

The HiSET is a high school equivalency exam that has five subtests covering social studies, math, reading, writing and science. About 6% of the 50 questions on the Social Studies HiSET concern geography. Use the lessons in this chapter to review the topics you can expect to find on the exam.

You will have 70 minutes to complete your HiSET exam. In addition to the questions about geography, you will find questions about economics, history and civics and government. HiSET questions are in multiple-choice format, as are the lesson quizzes in this chapter. Use them to practice answering HiSET-style questions and get comfortable with the information before your test date.
