Objectives of the HiSET Mathematics: Decimals and Percents Chapter

The HiSET math exam is designed to test your knowledge and comprehension of mathematical concepts. The material in this chapter on decimals and percents is found in the Numbers and Operations on Numbers portion of the exam. The section is worth 19% of the mathematics test. Of the 50 total multiple-choice questions on the exam, about nine will test you on numbers and operations. You'll have up to 90 minutes to complete the exam.
