HiSET Social Studies Objectives

The HiSET is a high school equivalency exam used in some states in place of the GED. It tests your knowledge in five key subjects: social studies, reading, writing, science and math. The 70-minute social studies test includes 50 multiple-choice questions that cover topics in history, political science, economics and geography. There are around three questions related to geography on this test; these questions may include concepts related to the political factors of physical and human geography.
