Objectives of the HiSET: The Elizabethan Era Chapter

The HiSET Social Studies is one of five subtests on the HiSET exam, which is a high school equivalency exam available in some states. The social studies subtest requires you to answer fifty questions in seventy minutes. Test questions fall under four content categories: history, which accounts for 38% of your score; civics and government, which accounts for another 38%; economics, which accounts for 18%; and geography, which accounts for 6%.
