Objectives of the ILTS Environmental Science: Waves and Electromagnetic Spectrum Course

In Illinois, individuals who desire certification to teach environmental science at the secondary school level must pass the Illinois Licensure Testing System (ILTS) environmental science content area exam. This multiple-choice exam contains 125 questions that are segmented into six subareas. The material in the chapter on Waves and Electromagnetic Spectrum chapter are part of subarea III, which is the physical science portion of the exam.
