Maintaining Healthy Body Systems - Chapter Summary
In this chapter, our instructors explain the difference between health promotion and disease prevention. Also covered is the influence of public policy and laws on the prevention of disease and other health issues. When you've completed this chapter, you should be able to:

This lesson explores the effects of missing out on sleep. We examine the general issues that happen when a person misses out on sleep, as well as how sleep debt can compound chronic health conditions.
