Objectives of the MTEL History: Judaism Chapter

The MTEL History Exam is a comprehensive test of your mastery of historical events from ancient times to the present. You will need to pass this exam to be licensed as a history teacher in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The topics in this Judaism chapter fall within the World History Objective which accounts for 25% of the test questions. By taking the self-assessment quizzes that accompany the lessons, you can test your mastery of the material and gain experience answering questions like the ones you'll see on the test.

The questions include 100 multiple-choice and 2 open-response questions. The multiple-choice items ask you to read a passage or question and answer questions by picking the correct response from several presented.
