### MTEL Math: Quadrilaterals - Chapter Objectives

If you are a math teacher candidate in the state of Massachusetts you will need to score a 240 on the MTEL Mathematics exam to demonstrate that you possess mathematical skills and knowledge needed to become a certified math teacher. When completing this computer-based exam you will need to accurately answer 100 multiple-choice questions and two open-response assignments in a four-hour testing session. Nineteen percent of the weight of this exam is based upon multiple-choice questions about geometry and measurements, and may include some questions about quadrilaterals.

### 7. Trapezoids: Definition and Properties

Watch this video lesson to learn what a trapezoid has to do with a triangle. Also, learn the special words that describe the various parts of a trapezoid. You will also see special types of trapezoids.
