### MTEL Math: Rates and Ratios Chapter Objectives

Answer questions on rates and ratios during the computer-delivered MTEL Math examination's first subarea, Number Sense and Operations. The first of five multiple-choice subareas, Number Sense and Operations has three objectives and 14 - 16 multiple-choice questions. It amounts to 12% of the approximate test weighting. A sixth subarea is categorized as open-response. Provide answers to 100 multiple-choice questions and two open-response assignments during the four-hour assessment. Earning a score of at least 240 is a requirement.
