MTEL Middle School Math/Science: Exponents Objectives

Individuals take the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) Mathematics/Science (Middle School) exam to show their competency in middle-grades math and science so that they can earn certification as middle grades math and/or science teachers. This certification exam includes completing 100 computer-administered multiple-choice questions and two open-response assignments, all in a four-hour testing session. Eight percent of your score for this exam will be based on your knowledge of number sense and operations, including exponents.
