MTLE Middle Level Science: Principles of Scientific Inquiry Chapter Objectives

The MTLE Middle Level Science exam includes two subtests, each of which contain around 50 multiple-choice questions. You'll have up to an hour to complete each subtest and will need to pass both in order to achieve your Minnesota teacher's license in the field. This chapter can help you study for the 'Concepts and Applications in Middle Level General Science' subarea of the first subtest, which includes a section of questions concentrated on the principles and processes of scientific inquiry. All together, this subarea will count towards 43% of your score on the first subtest.
