Objectives of the MTTC History: Buddhism Chapter

The MTTC History test assesses your knowledge of all aspects of American and world history. A passing grade of at least 220 is required for licensure as a history teacher in the state of Michigan. The topics on religion, including Buddhism, are found in the World History portion of the test, which makes up 33% of the test questions.

The exam can be taken as a paper-and-pencil test or as a computer-based-test (CBT). Either way, it consists of 100 multiple-choice test questions. You will read a passage or a question and then be presented with several possible answer options, from which you'll be asked to select the correct one.
