Objectives of the MTTC History: Foundations of Religion Chapter

The MTTC History exam evaluates your knowledge and comprehension of all aspects of American and world history. A passing grade on the exam, which is 220, is needed for teacher licensure in the state of Michigan. The topics in the Foundations of Religion chapter are covered in the World History section of the test, which accounts for 33% of the test questions.

There are 100 multiple-choice questions on the exam. The exam is administered in two formats and you can choose the one you prefer: paper-and-pencil version, or computer-based-test (CBT) version. You will be presented with a passage or a question and then given several possible response options. You will be asked to select the correct response option.
