Objectives of the MTTC History: The Stone Age Chapter

The MTTC History exam evaluates your knowledge and understanding of the historical events that took place worldwide from earliest recorded history to the present day. You will need to score a passing grade on this exam to be eligible for teacher licensure in the state of Michigan. The topics on the Stone Age are part of the World History objective, which makes up 33% of the test questions. By taking our self-assessment quizzes, you will have some experience with the types of questions you are likely to encounter on the actual exam.

There are 100 questions on the exam, all of which are multiple-choice. You will be presented with a passage or a question that is followed by several possible response alternatives. From these, you will need to select the correct answer.
