Objectives of the MTTC History: U.S. Electoral Systems Chapter

The MTTC History exam is designed to test your knowledge of critical history, political science and economic concepts in order to earn a teaching credential for history in Michigan. The exam is composed of 100 multiple-choice questions. Electoral systems are covered in the interdisciplinary perspectives subarea, which makes up roughly one quarter of the questions asked on the exam. The other three subareas on the exam test you on U.S. and world history and historical concepts and skills. You can use our self-assessment quizzes to prepare for the format of the exam questions.
