### NES Math: Summarizing Data Objectives

The states of Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin require passing the NES Math test as a condition for obtaining certification to teach math in the secondary grades. The test is computer-delivered and consists entirely of multiple-choice questions, like our lesson quizzes and the chapter exam. These tests not only let you assess your learning, they allow you to experience answering questions in the format you'll encounter on the NES Math test.

The NES test questions are divided by subject into five content domains. Questions on summarizing data are in the Statistics, Probability and Discrete Mathematics content domain, which makes up 19% of the total exam.
