NES: Social Groups & Organizations - Objectives

The NES exam was created to evaluate potential teachers for licensure, and this particular exam is designed to evaluate potential middle school social studies teachers. The exam is broken down into four scoring domains including history, which accounts for about 50% of the test score, geography and culture, about 19% of the score, government, accounting for about 19% of the test score, and economics, about 12% of the test score.
