The NMTA Middle Grades Social Science exam features 150-multiple choice questions. The breakdown of the test includes: 1) History (50%), 2) Geography and Culture (19%), 3) Government (19%), and 4) Economics (12%). The content in this chapter falls into the Geography and Culture content domain. You must score a minimum of 220 points on their scaled score system ranging from 100-300 in order to obtain the Middle Grades Social Science content knowledge endorsement. You will have three hours to complete the exam, at the conclusion of which you will receive your scaled score.
