Objectives of the NMTA Math: Applications of Integration Chapter

The NMTA Math assessment is designed to evaluate your skills and knowledge as part of the certification process for teaching mathematics in New Mexico. The exam includes five content areas: calculus and trig; geometry and measurement; math processes and number sense; stats, probability and discrete math; and patterns, algebra and functions. The topics in this chapter can be found within the calculus and trigonometry section, which makes up 19% of the exam. There are 150 multiple-choice tasks on the assessment, and you'll have four and a quarter hours to complete them all.
