NMTA Middle Grades Math: Similar Polygons Objectives

The purpose of this assessment is for New Mexico educators to demonstrate their full field of knowledge within mathematics. You should know, however, that this test is an optional part of the licensure process. This test allows New Mexico teachers who are licensed to teach students in grades K-8 to verify their content-based knowledge within this specific field. The NMTA Middle Grades Mathematics test measures the extent of an individual's knowledge by asking 150 questions about algebra, geometry, probability, and number sense.
