NMTA Middle Grades Math: Transformation - Chapter Objectives

If you're seeking certification as a middle grades math teacher in the state of New Mexico you will need to take the NMTA Middle Grades Mathematics certification exam. This computer-based exam is composed of 150 multiple-choice items which you will be given a four hour and 15 minute testing session to answer. Thirty-three percent of these questions are on algebra and functions and another 25% is on measurements and geometry. Both of these domains may include questions about mathematical transformations of equations and geometric shapes.
