OAE Mathematics: Geometric Figures Chapter Objectives

Ohio uses the OAE Mathematics test as an assessment tool to verify that mathematics teachers know their field thoroughly in accordance with standards set by the state. Test-takers have a little over four hours to provide answers to 150 multiple-choice questions, and the test is administered completely by computer. To verify that educators possess a true breadth of knowledge, they must answer questions within five different subfield domains. The topic of geometric figures will be addressed in the subfield of geometry and measurements, and almost 20% of the final test score will be based on questions in this subfield category.
