### Objectives of the OAE Middle Grades Math: Introduction to Fractions Chapter

In Ohio, passing the OAE Middle Grades Math exam is required of teachers who need certification to teach math to students of this age. There are four sections, called domains, in this exam. The questions on fractions are in the domain on number sense and operations. This domain makes up 17% of the exam.

Like the quizzes that follow each of our lessons, the OAE Middle Grades Math exam is a computer-delivered, multiple-choice exam.
