Ohio Graduation Test: Systems of Linear Equations Chapter Objectives

In Ohio, high school students are required to take and pass Ohio Graduation Tests to earn their diplomas. The tests determine proficiency in and knowledge of writing, social studies, science, math and reading, and they require that students earn minimum scores of 400 each to pass. This chapter prepares students for the math test, which explores six academic content standards that include subject areas like algebra, geometry, measurement, number sense, data analysis and mathematical processes. It consists of 32 multiple-choice questions, one extended-response question and five short-answer questions.
