6. How Compounds and Molecules Are Built From Elements
Did you know that elements are somewhat like people and have different personalities? Some elements like to be left alone. Others prefer to hang out with friends. We'll discuss how elements build molecules and compounds and how these can be classified.
7. How Atoms & Molecules Form Solids: Patterns & Crystals
After watching this video, you will be able to explain how atoms and molecules form solids, whether in the form of random mixtures or crystal patterns. A short quiz will follow.
8. Living Systems Requirement for Free Energy and Matter
Free energy and matter are required by all living things in order to grow, reproduce, and maintain biological processes. Additionally, free energy and matter must also be recycled through the environment in order to remove dead material and allow for new growth.

Force is everywhere and it comes in a variety of sizes, directions, and types. In this video lesson, you'll identify force as well the different types of force that objects may experience.
13. Vibrations and Waves: Energy and Motion
What is a wave? What causes waves, and how do they travel from one place to another? This lesson will guide you through the basics of waves. We'll discuss their origins from vibrations and investigate how they carry energy through a medium.
14. The Wave Nature of Matter
After watching this video, you will be able to explain the concept of wave-particle duality, give an example of an application of wave-particle duality, and complete simple calculations using the de-Broglie wavelength equation. A short quiz will follow.
