PLACE Business Education: Career Counseling Chapter Objectives

The PLACE Business Education test is required for those educators in the state of Colorado seeking to attain their license to teach business in secondary schools. The test is divided into five main categories: business management and communication; economics and personal finance; technology and information systems; business education programs; and accounting, finance and business law. Career issues fall under the business education programs section. The materials discussed in our chapter on career counseling will help you prepare for questions you may see on the actual test. The PLACE Business Education test consists of 100 multiple choice questions with each test session lasting 4 ½ hours.
