PLACE Elementary Education: Technology & Society Chapter Objectives

In Colorado, educators take the PLACE Elementary Education assessment to secure the licensure needed to teach subjects at the elementary level. This test is broken into six subareas that examine language arts and literacy, science, math, wellness and physical education, social studies and humanities. PLACE tests typically consist of 100 multiple-choice questions and last four hours and 30 minutes. To pass this assessment, you must earn a minimum score of 220.
