Praxis Biology & General Science: Objectives

The Praxis Biology & General Science exam is used to determine your eligibility to be licensed as a biology or science teacher. The exact requirements for licensing or certification - including the minimum score considered a passing score - vary by state.

The exam consists of 120 questions, all in multiple-choice format. Physics accounts for about 12 questions, or ten percent of the exam. These questions cover:
