Praxis Biology and General Science: Science Principles: Hypotheses, Theories and Change Objectives

The Praxis II Biology and General Science test is built to determine if you possess the knowledge required to teach biology and/or general science at the secondary school level. Questions on scientific methods and models are contained in the history, philosophy and methodology of science section of the test, which makes up 10% of the total test. The self-assessment quizzes found at the end of each chapter resemble the actual questions you may find on the Praxis II exam.

The Praxis II Biology and General Science test is composed of 120 multiple-choice questions which must be answered in two hours. The exam requires you to define important scientific terms and concepts, as well as problem solve certain scientific scenarios and laboratory experiences.
