TExES Core Subjects 4-8: Imaginary & Complex Numbers - Chapter Summary

Our instructors put these lessons on imaginary and complex numbers together as a refresher for Texas teachers who will soon be taking the TExES Core Subjects 4-8 test. Lessons are geared toward answering possible test questions in such areas as:

  • The definition of imaginary numbers
  • Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing complex numbers
  • Graphing complex numbers on the complex plane

To keep your study sessions interesting, the subject matter is broken up into videos averaging 5-10 minutes each. A short quiz accompanies each lesson for testing your understanding of what you've studied. We also include a feature that allows you to ask a question of an expert if you're having trouble with any of the lesson concepts.
