The Periodic Table Overview - Chapter Summary
This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the periodic table. Our expert science instructors help you review the table's organization and the type of information it reveals about elements and their atoms. You'll also evaluate trends that occur on the table, such as ionization energy, electronegativity and metallic character. By the end of the chapter, you should be able to:

- Evaluate several trends among groups and periods on the periodic table
- Differentiate between main group elements and transition metals
