WEST Business & Marketing Education: Business Accounting - Chapter Objectives

Washington State uses the WEST Business & Marketing Education exam to assess the skills of prospective marketing and business teachers. It's a computer-based test that includes 110 multiple-choice questions; you'll have two hours and 30 minutes to complete the test. Questions come from five domain areas within business and marketing; this chapter prepares you for some of the questions included within the accounting section. The accounting section comprises 17% of the test. You can use this chapter to prepare for questions on the features of computerized accounting systems, the functions of accounting software, current account trends and current International Accounting Standards.
