Objectives of the WEST Middle Grades Math: Estimating & Rounding Chapter

The WEST Middle Grades Math exam is designed to assess your preparedness to teach the subject matter at hand. The topics in this portion of the course specialize in the areas of estimating and rounding as they relate to mathematics. The self-administered lesson quizzes will give you an accurate idea as to your knowledge of each topic and will expose you to questions as they will appear on the exam.

The WEST exam is a computer-based test that consists solely of 150 multiple-choice questions and will last approximately four hours and 15 minutes. The estimating and rounding elements will be one of many different mathematical aspects of the test. Your exam results will be provided immediately upon completion of the test and your score report will be released within two weeks.
