Continuing Education Options

The majority of individuals employed as business marketers hold at least a bachelor's degree. Many universities allow students to transfer their associate's degree credits over to a four year bachelor's degree program. Advanced marketing degrees, such as a Master of Science or a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), prepare students for advanced executive positions or careers in academia and research.

Business marketing students learn about the value of customer opinion in driving marketing strategy and the effects that economic, social, and technological factors can have on customer opinion. Learning these skills in an associate's degree program prepares students for a number of jobs in retail and marketing, with the option to build upon this learning in a bachelor's or graduate degree program.
