The median annual salary for advertising and promotions managers was $95,890 in May 2015, the BLS states, while marketing managers brought in a median yearly amount of $128,750 at that time.

Graduates of associate's degree programs can pursue bachelor's degrees in fashion marketing or a related field. Some 2-year programs have articulate agreements and transferability with 4-year colleges for students wishing to advance their education. Master's programs in fashion merchandising and similar disciplines are also available.
