According to the BLS, first-line supervisors of office and administrative support workers, including people with job titles like office manager, can expect job growth of 8% from 2014-2024. These jobs paid a median salary of $52,630 in 2015. The BLS estimates that network and computer system administrator jobs will increase 8% from 2014-2024, and the median salary for this job was $77,810 in 2015.

Continuing Education and Certification Information

Graduates can continue their computer management education with a bachelor's degree in computer information systems or management. These programs train students to communicate with team members and identify information technologies.

For graduates not looking to continue their education right away, the associate's degree program can prepare them for additional certification in a number of computer related areas. Some of the certifications available are IC3 Global Stand 3 Certification, MTA Networking Fundamentals, MTA Windows Server Fundamentals and CompTIA A+. The program can prepare students for initial user certification in Microsoft Office software, such as Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

With an AAS in Computer Management, students build the basic computer skills they need for entry-level information technology jobs. Graduates can also enter bachelor's degree programs in related fields or pursue software-specific certifications.
