Essential Information

AAS programs in marketing provide basic training in the field, as well as other areas of business, such as management and advertising. Specialization options include administration and entrepreneurship. Students can apply the concepts they learn in the classroom by participating in internships, where they may have the chance to create marketing plans or carry out research.

Most AAS programs take two years to complete. Although a high school diploma or GED is the only prerequisite, this program may appeal to professionals already working in the marketing industry who want to advance their knowledge and abilities in sales, written communication and product procurement.
