Database administrators might see 9% growth, the BLS noted.

The median annual salary for Web developers was $69,430 in May 2018, according to the BLS, and network administrators earned a median annual salary of $82,050. Median annual earnings for computer user support specialists were reported as $50,980, while $90,070 was the median annual wage for database administrators.

Continuing Education

Graduates can add qualifications to their resumes by completing certification programs through organizations such as CompTIA. Programs include topics in security, networking and servers. Those interested in advanced career opportunities can pursue bachelor's degrees in such majors as network engineering technology and computer science.
