From 2019-2029, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicted much-faster-than-average employment growth of 18% for market research analysts and marketing specialists. During that same time, the BLS projected a 6% increase in jobs for advertising, promotions and marketing managers. In 2020, market research analysts and marketing specialists earned a median annual salary of $65,810 and advertising and promotions managers earned $133,460, the BLS reported.

Even though it is not possible to get a B.A. in Marketing and Design, B.A. programs in marketing alone generally provide sufficient training in both subjects for students who want to work in the field or continue their education in MBA programs.
