As per data from U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the mean wage human resources managers was $126,700 per year in May of 2018. The same segment of compensation and benefits managers made $132,860 that year, while training and development managers brought in $65,120 annually. The 2018 mean salary for human resources specialists was $66,790.
The BLS anticipates a faster-than-average 7% job growth rate for human resources managers from 2018 to 2028. During the same decade, benefits and compensation managers are expected to see 3% job growth, opportunities for training and development managers are projected to rise by 8% and human resources specialists should experience a 5% increase in employment, the BLS reports.
