Entrepreneurship degree programs focus on information technology, finance, and consulting concepts and teach students how to analyze economic climates. In addition to traditional lecture courses, students will learn fundamental business principles and problem-solving skills through practical learning opportunities.

To apply for a bachelor of science in entrepreneurship program, a high school diploma is required, as well as a minimum GPA. Some institutions may require the completion of certain pre-business courses. Many programs also require an internship or participation in immersion projects for program completion.

As of May 2018, the BLS states that management analysts earned a median annual salary of $83,610.

Continuing Education Information

Master's programs in entrepreneurship prepare students to develop their own business plans, build a professional portfolio and start a business of their own. Entrepreneurship programs at the master's level are available as Master of Entrepreneurship programs or as Master of Business Administration degrees with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. Classes are often taught by experienced entrepreneurs. Applicants may have to submit letters of recommendation and have a bachelor's degree with a satisfactory undergraduate GPA before being admitted.
