To apply for this program you'll need an associate degree in HVAC technology with a 2.5 GPA or higher. Once admitted you'll complete two years of upper-division coursework.
The HVACR curriculum includes courses such as contracting issues in HVACR, direct digital control, energy audit and analysis, control theory, and commercial HVAC system design. Keep in mind that there is a five-day lab session held during the second year summer semester that you must complete on campus. You'll also be required to complete a summer internship to gain hands-on experience.
