Marketing research education is offered at University of Wisconsin - Madison, University of Georgia in Athens, and Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. University of Wisconsin - Madison

U.S. News & World Report ranked University of Wisconsin - Madison 10th among all public colleges for 2017. This school offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with a marketing research specialization. Project assistantships are awarded to a limited number of students each year. Students assistants work 13 hours per week under a faculty member and receive a stipend and a full tuition waiver.

University of Georgia in Athens

The University of Georgia (UGA) tied for 18th place among America's best public colleges in U.S. News & World Report's 2017 rankings. The school offers a Master of Marketing Research (MMR) program that can be completed in 11 months. The program's advisory board includes professionals from well-known corporations such as PepsiCo, JP Morgan Chase, and Walmart. A highlight of the MMR program is student involvement in research or management audit projects supervised by a professor and sponsored by industry partners. Students also benefit from executive seminars that offer question-and-answer sessions hosted by MR professionals.

Carthage College in Kenosha, WI

At Carthage College undergraduates can major in marketing. In addition to basic courses in economics, accounting, management, and other business-related topics, students may choose to take an elective course in marketing research. By providing comprehensive training in the marketing field, this program can prepare students for graduate-level marketing research studies in the future. Students may be interested to know the school has its own chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon, the fraternal organization for marketing professionals. For 2017, the school was ranked #154 among national liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report.
